Here it is Wed. again. I’ve mostly quilted on customer quilts this last week. As far as my own stuff……..well, I did make my BOM block for this month. I finished it up last night.
This year my guild’s opportunity quilt is going to be an embroidered redwork quilt. At the last meeting they had packets we could pick up to do some of the blocks. I have 1 block completed and I’m working on the 2nd block. I enjoy handwork, but I don’t do it very often. I’ve been taking the blocks on the bus with me, and I have about 20 minutes to sit between routes and work on them.
That’s it for my works in progress.
I have these little flowers that are blooming near my back door. I can hardly wait for more things to bloom.
Here’s the Patchwork party quilt that I quilted a few weeks ago. I couldn’t post any pics of it until the party started. It’s hanging in the shop here.
Ok, that’s is for now. Have a great day!!

Love the reds! Your blocks are beautiful!
I really like your red blocks and your embroidery really looks good. It looks like you have some wild violets growing at your back door, how cool is that!!
Never would I have thought that red and white would make such pretty blocks. It is very nice!
Thank you Jackie, Teresa and Amanda. I’ve never made a red and white quilt, so I’m looking forward to completing this one.
