Since my last post I quilted another quilt. This one is called Daisy Star. I don’t know if that’s the name of the pattern or just what my client called it. She made it for her teenage daughter and that’s what she embroidered on the label. Anyway, I thought the quilt was cute when I got it but I had no ideal how to quilt it. I decided that as I went along. I had everything quilted accept for the sashings and I was still reluctant on what to do with them. I finally decided to keep them simple. Here’s how it came out.
.
Now I need to get downstairs and load the next one on before I have to leave.
Well, I guess that’s it for now. Since going back to work, I have to keep myself away from the computer. I figure that if I update my blog whenever I finish a quilt that will keep me quilting and not spending time on the computer. That’s my goal for now. I’m not sure how long it will last but I’ll try.
Till, next time…………..

That turned out nicely — almost psychedelic, though! Did you need sunglasses to work on it?

I really enjoy reading your blog. Your free hand quilting of those butterflies is beautiful. I am thinking about getting a frame for my Bernina 640 with the BSR. Who knows. Thanks for sharing your quilting adventures. I am definately adding you to my blogroll.
