First of all, I had a great time on the bus trip. Met lots of nice ladies and went to some great shops. I didn’t get pictures of all of them but here’s a few that we went to. Do you recognize any of them?
Back to quilting now……here’s what I’m working. I finished this one today on Viqtoria.
This ones on Millie.
It’s a sampler and I’m not sure what I’m going to do in the setting blocks, so I’m doing all the pieced blocks first. Decisions, decisions……….

I finished this quilt tonight.
I’ve been working on it for a while. I did the fall Patchwork party quilt for Quilters Quarters this week and after finishing, I got back to this one.
I’m leaving early in the morning for a 3 day bus trip, so I wanted to get this one off of Millie before I left.
I’m looking forward to the bus trip. We are going to several quilt shops. It’s always a lot of fun!! I am the bus Mom, so I have games planned as well as movies to watch for those long periods of travel.
I guess I better go pack my clothes. I have all the fun stuff ready, but I guess I better take my nessesitores!
I’ll try to post pictures of some of our fun as we travel.

Another Wednesday! Here’s what going on in my part of the quilting world…..this one came off Viqtoria this morning. It has a simple panto with some roses and swirls on it.
This one is on there now. It’s an easy quilt to make that uses yardage more than pieced blocks.
You can’t see the quilting on most of the front, but you can on the back….. 🙂
I’m getting close to be finished with all the background fill on this one. Then the black triangles in the borders. Whew! This is one big quilt.
Speaking of big. The red and white quilt from last week was 108″x108″. For those that wanted to see more of it.

I pulled this out over the weekend and decided that it’s time to finish it. It was a Row by row exchange that we did at guild several years ago. Sharon and I are doing our program “Challenges, Swaps, Exchanges…Oh My” and this is one that I need to have done for it, so I better get it finished.

Another Wednesday has rolled around. Time sure goes by fast!
I took this one off Viqtoria this morning.
Now she’s busy quilting on another quilt. This one is a scrappy pink quilt. Pink is not my favorite color, but this is one pretty quilt, I think!
I just finished loading a red and white quilt on Millie.
That’s what’s happening here…
Now back to work!

I’m still working on getting the stabilizer stuff off the back of the embroidered blocks. Without the white behind the block, the white designs are showing up better on the off white fabric.

Here it is Wednesday again. I’m not getting as much quilting done today as I had planned. I got sidetracked this morning with making a couple apple pies.
I love apple pie……..
Anyway, I did finish this quilt and just took it off Millie.
I freehanded babump feathers in a couple of the borders. I meandered them around in the wide border.
I used Glide thread and it just pops on some of the fabrics. I like it……
Now I need to get the next quilts loaded and get back to work.
While I was writing this, my neighbor brought over some cookies.
She makes the BEST chocolate chip cookies I have ever had! Wow. Homemade apple pie and hot from the oven Ch chip cookies……..life is good!!!

This is going to be my next project. My friend Jolynne embroidered these beautiful blocks for me, so now it’s time to get them made into a quilt top. This is the center block.
There are 16 blocks that will go around the center.
There are 4 corners with hearts.
Step one will be to remove the stabilizer. I’m sure this is going to be a long project. But it’s going to be worth it when I get done.

I just took this one off Viqtoria. It’s a Berenstain bears panel with a border added on.
I remember reading the Berenstain bears to my kids when they were little. Where has the time gone?
I can’t show what’s on Millie today, but I will show how the one turned out from a couple weeks ago.
