I’m ready to add borders onto the quilt from last week. It’s been removed from my design wall and replaced with new string pieces. It’s similar to an old antique quilt top that I purchased a while back.
Before putting the pieces up on the wall, I laid them out on the table……..
Hmmmm…..might need to make a spider web quilt too!
Too many quilts to make and never enough time! LOL!

Just a quick check in here for design wall Monday. I’m making another string quilt with the shadow look. I decided this time to make the strings rectangles instead of squares. 
I hope I can get this sewn together this week, so I can start the next string quilt I have planned. I’m addicted to these crazy strings!!

I made progress on my latest string quilt this last week. All I have left to do is add the last border and it will be ready to quilt.

I see I didn’t post any design wall updates the whole month of April. I’ll start May off sharing my current design wall project. It’s another string quilt. I am having way too much fun making string quilts!
