I decided a while back to use some Kaffe fabrics for a string quilt. The quilt I made had some leftover blocks so I played around with them and decided on this layout. I added sashings and cornerstones, now it’s time for borders.
I’m planning to use more of the orange fabric for a small border then use another Kaffe print for the outside border.

Today is the last Monday of my summer vacation.😟 School starts back up on Wednesday, so it’s back to driving the big yellow fellow. He’s back in the driveway and ready to go.
I’ve been wanting to make another quilt from my book and decided that this chevron print will work. I have a couple of snack packs that I can pull the strips from.
I decided to make this pattern.
Hopefully I can get it made this week.
I’m currently working on another string quilt. I’m using Kaffe fabrics in it. The strings…..
The squares…..
I have a few more to make, so I might sew the Uneven bars quilt when I take a break from sewing strings.
