Design wall Monday 2/25/13

February 25, 2013

Last month at my guild meeting we had a demo night and one lady was showing how to make the fabric bowls. I had never been interested in them until I saw how she was doing it. I decided it looked like fun! So now I have the rope and I’m ready to make me a bowl……..

Looks like fun. One of the ladies in my quilt group has made some out of M&M bags-real colorful and recycle friendly. Now she is working on one with mylar balloons instead of fabric.

I have seen them demonstrated but I have not made any. It looks like it would be a good way to use up fabric that you no longer love.

I have lots of fabric that I don’t care for anymore. If I get rid of it then I can replace it with new fabric! :) I might end up with lots of bowls! LOL!!!
